The Data Model Navigator framework gathers comprehensive information about the base-system data model, beginning with the CMDB structure.
The goal of the Data Model Navigator framework is to capture and characterize the following information and present it to the user in a clear, context-aware, and practical way:
- Tables: Identify the types of information that should be captured in the table. Describe how that information might vary based on context (if at all). Provide data samples that clarify the table’s purpose and use.
- Attributes: Identify and describe key attributes. Clearly differentiate key attributes from similar attributes in the table. Identify attributes that are important in specific use cases.
- Relationships: Describe how and why to model relationships between specific classes.
- Use case and context-driven information: Identify the parts of the data model that reinforce intended outcomes. For example:
- Identify tables and attributes that strengthen solutions for IP address management.
- Explain the differences between data modeling in cloud and non-cloud environments.
- Fixed
- Files are moved to the appropriate folder in the search index.
- Specific read-only fields are changed to strict read-only fields.
