Key Features
Manage CI Relations
You can now define and manage relationships between fixed services—linking circuits that are functionally connected. Users can create, update, delete, bulk-load relationships, and view them directly in the UI for faster navigation. This is a continuation of new Inventory Management rework as Telecom environments often include interconnected services like access and transport circuits. Without clear visibility into these links, tracking service dependencies becomes inefficient and error-prone. This feature improves traceability and operational understanding.
Fixed Procurement Instructions
You can now configure detailed ordering instructions for each carrier—and even down to specific Billing Account Numbers (BANs). Set separate guidance for quoting, fulfilment, and carrier access methods (email, phone, or portal), all within the fixed procurement flow. Procurement teams often deal with multiple carriers, each with unique requirements. Standardizing and automating this guidance ensures consistency, reduces errors, and accelerates processing time across quoting and fulfilment steps. You can now configure detailed ordering instructions for each carrier—and even down to specific Billing Account Numbers (BANs). Improvements
Structure v2 Enhancements
Implementing new fixed service structure a few releases back provided advanced possibilities for inventory management. Considering Customers’ and internal teams’ feedback, the following improvements were made to the structure:
-
Ability to configure old service types relations to new Inventory Types.
-
System captures ‘old’ Service Group during migration for effective data clean up.
-
Import logic has been re-worked and optimized for quicker invoice data upload process.
-
Auto-fix for Data Quality Rule for migration now has a configuration of delimiter between ID and Inventory Type key.
Fixed Procurement Location Handling
Location information now includes full address details—such as street, city, state, and ZIP—alongside the location name. This update applies across relevant reports and workflows in the platform. Precise location context is critical when managing telecom services, especially for fixed lines tied to specific premises. Full address visibility improves clarity, reduces ambiguity, and helps align orders, billing, and audits to the correct site.
Optimisation Process Improvements
Continued improvement to optimization process to support Customers’ and Expense Management teams:
-
Approval notification reminders: it is possible to configure frequency of notification reminders for pending approval Savings Books to ensure no savings are left not processed.
-
More details for Change Logs: added more information on Change Log level for easier proposal review and approval.
Fixes
Fixed import logic for “Update Service Attributes” and “Import Manual Adjustment” processes to accept services with same ID but under different BANs.
Fixed issue when Service-level attachments were not displayed correctly after migration.
Fixed issue when RITM Closure configuration did not work properly for fixed procurement processes.
brightfin Foundation application has to be installed prior to installing this application.
