Standalone Application
The synthetic monitoring application empowers organizations to proactively manage and enhance the performance and availability of critical services. By simulating user transactions on API endpoints, this solution identifies performance bottlenecks, ensures uptime, and optimizes user experiences.
- Create and manage synthetic tests to replicate end-user transactions for critical services.
- Get real-time notifications for performance degradations or outages before they impact users.
- See related services for synthetic tests to determine incident impact.
- Visualize synthetic test results, track KPIs, and share insights with stakeholders.
New
- Create synthetic monitors for APIs discovered using API Insights
- Synthetic Monitoring now supports creating and managing monitors for discovered API components. Users can create synthetic HTTP monitors targeting API endpoints cataloged by API Insights, with automatic mapping of endpoint URL and HTTP method. Bulk creation is supported, and monitors can be created for both traditional HTTP endpoints and discovered APIs using the same interface.
- Service and support group fields are auto-populated for discovered API monitors. When a discovered API has a relationship to a parent service, the service and support group fields are automatically populated and displayed as read-only on the monitor form.
- Monitor records now indicate the type of endpoint being monitored. Each monitor is tagged as either a traditional HTTP endpoint or a discovered API, allowing users to filter and sort monitors by endpoint type in the list view.
- Frontend dropdowns now list only valid, probe-ready discovered APIs. The Discovered API selector in the monitor creation form is populated with API components that are operational and have supported HTTP methods.
