The Service Graph Connector for Observability - Dynatrace imports the following types of data from Dynatrace to ServiceNow CMDB:
- Hosts
- Processes
- Services
- Applications
A Service Map is created using the relationship between various applications, application services, and infrastructure elements.
(Optional) This version also adds the ability to configure the ingestion of events through Event Management and automatically correlates events to the discovered CIs. As additional contentual enrichment information for the events, metrics and logs are also imported and associated with the events.
- Accurately classifies Dynatrace output into the appropriate CI classes: Application, Application Services, and Servers.
- Eliminates superfluous data that would otherwise clutter the Service Maps.
- Enriches events using log and metric data from Dynatrace.
New
- Added a property (sn_dynatrace_integ.createUnmatchedApplicationCIs) to insert unclassified applications into the cmdb_ci_appl table.
- Added ability to discover new cloud elements:
- Azure: Service Account, Data Center, Virtual Machine, Load Balancer, Storage Account
- AWS: Service Account, Data Center, EC2, Load Balancer
- Added ability to discover new Kubernetes elements:
- Namespace
- Node
- Pod
- Container
- Services
-
