Maintains primary data such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sources, legal entities, accounting periods, and so on.
The Finance Common Architecture application integrates with Finance Operations applications in the following ways:
- Define fiscal calendar and generate accounting periods
- Set up ERP sources for journal entry data
- Set up legal entities to use for posting journal entries
New:
- Introduced the Jurisdiction table to store jurisdiction names, codes, types, and associated tax authority.
Changed:
- Enhanced the Tax Type table to associate tax types with jurisdictions.
- Updated the Tax Type list view to display jurisdiction type and tax authority.
- When adding a tax line, jurisdiction type and tax authority now populate automatically based on the selected tax type. These fields are hidden by default and can be enabled as needed.
