New
- Users can now customize L2 menu items in Project Workspace. Users are able to personalize the L2 menu without system issues, and their customization settings persist across sessions. When enabled by an administrator, the legacy RIDAC page is hidden to streamline navigation. Customization applies consistently for all users with appropriate permissions.
- Project managers can view connected tasks and stories inline in the Planner tab. Connected CWM tasks and stories now display as child rows under each project task in the Planner, with standard columns shown and collapsible rows. Inline editing is disabled for these child tasks; edits can be made in the form view as permitted.
- A toggle button is now available in Project Workspace settings to show or hide connected tasks. By default, the toggle is turned on, displaying all CWM and Project Workspace tasks. Turning it off hides connected tasks from view.
Changed
- Performance improvements have been made to AI-generated status reports. Status report generation now runs asynchronously, resulting in faster performance for the health widget and executive summary widget in In-App insights.
- All customer-facing SPM product documentation now uses the "ServiceNow Otto" name. References to "Now Assist," "Moveworks," and "AI Experience" have been updated to "ServiceNow Otto" in documentation, following the Otto Naming Guidelines.
Fixed
- Changes made in the Project Workspace Planning tab are now retained after refreshing the page. Previously, updates could be lost due to errors in handling planning attributes; this has been resolved.
- The Status Report UI Action now opens the correct page without errors. The routing logic has been updated to ensure the status report page loads as expected.
- Export logs from the Project Workspace now correctly indicate whether the export was performed from the Planning or Financials page, improving traceability.
