The New Relic app integrated with ServiceNow functions by receiving notifications regarding issues from New Relic and then saving them as New Relic Issues within the ServiceNow instance. Additionally, the integration involves a pre-designed ServiceNow Incidents transformation process.
The New Relic application for ServiceNow receives New Relic Issue notifications and stores them as New Relic Issues in the ServiceNow instance.
Routing Policies can be configured in ServiceNow that allow you to generate tasks or other records in ServiceNow to represent or correspond to those Issues when they match that policy.
When issues are created that match a policy, a Flow will be executed to create a record in ServiceNow to work that issue. When the issues are updated or closed in New Relic, those updates can trigger flows that update the record in ServiceNow. Similarly, acknowledgment or closure events in ServiceNow can acknowledge or close the Issue in New Relic.
