The Metrics application for IRM and Operational Sustainability Management helps you define metrics that enable other applications to assess, compare, track, and report on performance. Organizations can define qualitative and quantitative metrics manually or collect them automatically on a recurring basis from the ServiceNow AI Platform.
Examples of metrics include the number of new hires, electricity consumption, employee donations, groundwater usage, and the number of pieces of equipment that are resold or reused.

- Admins can now configure notification redirection for metric data tasks and composite definitions. Email notifications for metric data tasks and metric hierarchies now use the platform’s notification redirection framework, ensuring recipients land on the correct workspace or Classic view based on access.
- Campaign workflows now support handling unpublished states and entity/metric removal. Campaigns update data owner and first run date only after publishing, display clear messages when metrics or entities are removed, and prevent deletion of campaign cycles once published.

- Filter count on MDT page now includes campaign filters. The filter button on the MDT page accurately reflects the total number of applied filters, including those from campaigns.
Fixed
- Error messages caused by metric definition ACLs on the control form have been resolved.
- Metric data list configuration now displays distinct labels for fields from different metric definition references, eliminating ambiguity.
